Description

Circa 1818/25. Gothick. Plain square 2-storey dark pinned
granite, red voussoirs at arches.

Statement of Interest

Landmark Pittrichie House, dated 1818, is gutted. Built

for J.W. Mackenzie, 2-storey and basement T-plan 3-

window recessed centre bay, belt course at 1st floor

level. Noted as late example of T-plan, Dunbar Historic

Architecture of Scotland p. 87. The mid Lodge has been

similar to the South Lodge but is derelict.
