Description

1848. 2-storey, 5-bay former sawmill, built into rising ground. Squared and coursed rubble, stugged ashlar dressings.

S ELEVATION: 2 doors at ground floor with window between, and windows flanking. 5 windows at 1st floor.

E AND W ELEVATIONS: 2 large sliding doors to gable ends, that to W from bank to upper level.

N ELEVATION: overshot wheel formerly housed to left by ashlar wall-plane, lade adjoining ground floor to right. 2 windows at ground and 1st floor.

Casement windows, half-glazed, half shuttered. Graded grey slates, ashlar coped skews, bracketted skewputts.
