Description

Mid to later 19th century (post 1848). 2-storey, with 1st floor breaking eaves, traditional Wigtown 3-bay house. painted rubble. Projecting cills.

E (MAIN STREET) ELEVATION: modern door at centre. Windows to both floors in outer bays, with broad gabled dormerheads to those at 1st floor.

S ELEVATION: window to left at ground floor.

N ELEVATION: window to right at ground floor.

W ELEVATION: single storey lean-to addition adjoined to full-length of elevation. 4-pane glazing in timber sash and case windows. Red sandstone coped skews. Painted rubble gablehead stacks, with red sandstone copes. Purple slates. Red sandstone ridging to roof and dormerheads.
