Description

Early to earlier 19th century. Single storey, 3-bay (2-1) cottage. Painted rubble. Narrow projecting cills. Boulder base course.

W (MAIN STREET) ELEVATION: door at centre. Small windows in outer bays.

S ELEVATION: gabled and blank.

N ELEVATION: adjoined to cottage, No 9 Main Street, Bessie's Byre, with higher pitched roof.

Plate glass glazing in timber sash and case windows. Coped skew to S. Painted rubble gablehead stacks. Modern concrete tiles. Cobble stones in front of cottage.
