Description

Dated 1828. Segmental-arched bridge over Birnock Water giving
access to walled garden. Built of squared whin rubble in
graded courses; narrow pedestrian tunnel arch on W bank. Red
ashlar coping level with flat roadway, parapets with plain,
slender cast-iron railings, asymmetrically widened at W
approach.
