Description

1816 (? dated). Square-plan walled garden. Rubble; red sandstone flat-coping. Lean-to curved glasshouse to NW.

Statement of Interest

Previously listed as "Garden Wall, Cairnsmore House". The Walled Garden is apparently dated 1816 but the date was not observed on this occasion (1990). The glasshouse is marked on the OS Map of 1849-50, and is, although in poor condition, of particular interest.

B Group with Cairnsmore House; Cairnsmore Stables; Open Barns (see separate listings).
