Description

Probably mid 19th century. Single storey, cruciform-plan,
gabled lodge. South and west gables have decorative barge
boards, entrance in modern harled porch behind gatepiers in
re-entrant angle, these parts (except porch) polished red
ashlar; remainder rubble-built with red ashlar dressings.
West elevation: bipartite with lying-pane sashes in gable
end, roof swept down at left over blind, round-headed opening
(similar opening to either flank, that facing south is open);
12-pane sash in left bay and in south gable: 2-bay east wing.
Central apex stack; 2 octagonal flues; slate roof with
projecting eaves. 2 square, polished ashlar gatepiers have
projecting caps.
