Description

Earlier 19th century. Small, rectangular plan, 3-bay chapel, piend-rofed, sited on falling ground. Sandstone, stugged, squared and snecked and painted. Base course. Door set in advanced, steeply gabled bay; chamfered arrises to surround, blank panel in gablehead and ashlar coping; 2-leaf chevron-boarded doors. Round arched windows in flanking bays. 2 regular windows to rear, currently boarded. Blank side elevations.

Small-pane glazing pattern with boarded heads in rounded arches. Grey slates.

Statement of Interest

Ecclesiastical building in use as such. Marked as the Methodist Church on the 1908 OS map. Interior not seen 1989. Apparently it also serves as a Sunday School.
