Description

Dated 1861 Scottish style. 2 1/2 storeys, coursed rubble. Corbie-step-gabled. Slated roof. Round angle tower. Date and initials 'D.G.' over door. Linked to Old Gruline House by wooden corridor.

Statement of Interest

Was home of Major General MacQuarrie. D Gardyne (who had purchased Glenforsa estate of which Gruline is a part in 1860) called Glenforsa House. Reverted to old name later.
