Description

1844. David Bryce. Scots Baronial. Rambling block. 2 storeys and attics. Harled. Gabled. Slate roofs. Angle turrets; conical and pyramidal roofs. Band courses. Early 19th century nucleus. Courtyard to North was destroyed by fire in 1969 and buildings are now rebuilt.

Statement of Interest

Built for Richard Cambbell of Glen Carradale. Later a seat of Buchanans of Drumpellier, Lanarkshire.
