Description

Circa 1820-30 in appearance (cf. Harris parishmanse of 1827), one of a group of substantial buildings which include a - now ruinous - corn mill. 2-storey 3-bay house with centre wall-head attic gable on south front, and square centre (?stair) turret at rear, to roadside; additional 2 ranges on east gable, full height and in T-plan, range furthest from original house, fronting road, renovated as a separate house. All white-harled; modern glazing, slate roofs, end/apex stacks. Centre porch on main south front of original house is modern. Outbuilding across the road, to north, a free-standing double-pile block, single storey with loft; long flank to roadside, cart/coach house at left, single windows; east elevation with door and loft door in each gable, small-paned sash windows in flanking openings of northern "pile".
