Description

Probably 19th century. Skye-type byre, formerly a cottage.

Single storey; 2-bay east elevation with door and blocked

small window, other walls blank (drain on north short wall). Rubble-built walls with squared angles. Muran thatch roof,

secured with ropes and netting, weighted with stones and long

steel tubes.

Interior: triangular wooden stall partitions; central drain

defined by cobbles.

Re-thatched 1982. In good condition.
