Description

Probably 19th century. Skye-type thatched cottage. Single
storey; 4-bay irregular east front (central door, 3 windows);
2 west-facing windows. Rubble-built, thick walls with squared
angles. Off-centre axial and single end stack. Muran thatch
roof secured with ropes and stone weights.
Derelict outbuildings to north and to north east.

Shown on 1st ed. O.S. surveyed 1878) Possibly extended-4-bay

cottages are rare in South Uist Parish.
