Description

Earlier/mid 19th century in appearance, but possibly dating from soon after 1809 when the Crinan Canal was built. 2-storey block, 2 centre doored 3-bay houses sharing common gable. Harled rubble, sash windows with 12-pane glazing pattern; end stacks; continuous slate roof.

DOLPHINS: (house nearest east), has wide door with 3-paned rectangular fanlight, window over has cill at higher level than those on the otehr 1st floor windows; massive stair tower at rear.

ADD VIEW: has tusking stones on W gable indicating intention to build further in that direction; also a low lean-to shed.
