Description

Early 19th century with respectful later additions and alterations. 2-storey, 3-bay house, with later 2-storey and single storey additions at rear. Rubble, heavily pointed, with contrasting red sandstone ashlar quoins and margins. Corniced, stone rectangular porch added later, and projecting at centre with window, door to left return, blank to right; windows flanking in outer bays and to each bay at 1st floor. 2-storey rear addition detailed sympathetically.

12-pane glazing pattern in sash and case windows. Overhanging eaves to piended roofs with widely spaced brackets. Coped ridge stacks flanking centre bay with decorative cans. Grey slates.

Retaining walls: rubble coped rubble walls.
