Description

Earlier to mid 19th century. Pair of single storey and attic, 3-bay cottages. No 141 harled, W elevation painted rubble; No 143 rubble, E elevation painted rubble. Painted raised margins.

S (MAIN STREET) ELEVATION: each cottage with door at centre and window in flanking bays; modern doors and letter-box fanlights. Garden wall adjoined to left of No 141 and to right of No 143.

W ELEVATION (NO 141): gabled and blank.

E ELEVATION (NO 143): gabled and blank.

Modern timber-framed glazing to No 141, modern glazing to No 143. Slate-hung piended dormer windows above outer bays of each cottage. Coped skews, mutual and to SW. Painted rubble stacks, gablehead to E and W, mutual between cottages. Purple slates to No 141; modern tiles to No 143. Full complements of octagonal cans.

GARDEN WALL: rubble garden walls to long front gardens to E, S and W; semicircular tile coping to S. Post box ("GR") in wall to SW.
