Description

Later 19th century. Single storey and attic, with dormer windows breaking eaves, 3-bay cottage, at end of terrace. N elevation pebble-dashed, W elevation rubble. Painted raised margins, architraved to dormer windows. Painted channelled quoin strips. Painted base course.

N (MAIN STREET) ELEVATION: pilastered doorcase at centre; panelled door and letter-box fanlight. Regular fenestration in outer bays; corniced band linking openings. Slate-hung gabled dormer windows above outer bays. Modern flat-roofed dormer window above centre bay. Corniced band above openings at ground floor.

E ELEVATION: adjoined to No 26 Main Street.

W ELEVATION: gabled and blank. Door adjoined to left.

4-pane fixed and top-hopper glazing. No skews. Broad rubble gablehead stacks, with red sandstone bands, to E and W. Modern tiles. Octagonal cans.
