Description

Late 18th century. Vehicular bridge over Main Water of Luce; single track, on E-W axis. Single span, with broad segmental arch. Rubble. Rubble voussoirs and coping. Concrete semicircular coping to wingwall to SE. Parapets angled at centre.

Statement of Interest

Main Water Bridge spans the parish boundary between New Luce and Inch. Main Water Bridge is shown on the "Plan ... of New Luce" of 1794.
