Description

Mid to late 18th century; openings enlarged at later date. 2-storey, 3-bay house forming part of irregular terrace. Rendered with raised concrete cills; concrete base course.

W (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: doorway at centre; modern panelled door; letterbox fanlight; single window at 1st floor above; bipartite windows with timber mullions at ground and 1st floors in bays to left and right. E (REAR) ELEVATION: flat-roofed garage adjoining house; flat-roofed addition at 1st floor.

Plate glass sash and case windows. Grey slate roof, sharing roofline with neighbouring Montrose Cottage; brick mutual stacks.

Statement of Interest

Forms part of Main Street B Group extending on E side from Dunbridge House to the Plough Hotel.
