Description

Early to earlier 19th century. Single storey and attic, 3-bay cottage, at end of terraced row. Painted rubble.

E (MAIN STREET) ELEVATION: doorway at centre; boarded door and 2-pane letterbox fanlight; several granite steps up to door. Windows in outer bays. Canted and piended dormer windows above outer bays.

S ELEVATION: window to outer left.

N ELEVATION: adjoined to No 3 Main Street (see separate listing).

Timber sash and case windows; 4-pane glazing to E elevation; plate glass glazing to S elevation; 2- and 4-pane glazing to dormer windows. Painted coped skews, mutual to N. Broad painted rubble stacks; gablehead to S, mutual to N. Graded purple slates.
