Description

Later 19th century. 2-storey and attic, 3-bay house, with 2 shops at ground; paired with Nos 11 and 13 The Square (see separate listing). Rubble, painted to E elevation. Painted margins and quoin strip to E.

N (THE SQUARE) ELEVATION: boarded door, with deep plate glass fanlight, at centre. 3-bay shop fronts in outer bays, each with central door and flanking windows. Regular fenestration at 1st floor. Gabled dormer windows above outer bays.

E ELEVATION: gabled and blank.

W ELEVATION: adjoined to No 15 The Square. Plate glass glazing in sash and case windows; plate glass display windows; modern glazing to

window at centre at 1st floor. Red sandstone coped skews, mutual to W. Partly painted rubble stacks, gablehead to E, mutual to W. Purple slates.
