Description

Mid 19th century possibly incorporating earlier fabric, later raised. 2-storey, 3-bay house with attic on corner of town square and Main Street. Squared and coursed granite with base course. Door to centre with letterbox fanlight, window to left. Later door enlarged from former window to right, with modern window opening to outer right. 3 windows at 1st floor. Wallhead raised 3 courses to accommodate attic with 2 canted, piend-roofed dormers in outer bays. Sash and case windows, 4-pane glazing pattern to 1st floor; 1 modern window at ground. Blue-grey slates, ashlar coped skews and stacks with decorative cans.
