Description

George Coutts 1901. Tall 4-storey and attic commercial and
tenement block with Dutch Renaissance detailing. 3 bays,
granite built with channelled outer pilasters to ground
floor. Modern shops, central round-arched and key-blocked
doorway pilastered with consoled open pediment, Pilaster
strips to inner narrow bay, outer bays with 3-storey shallow
canted windows, above, main cornice and balustraded parapet,
stepped and consoled gables with lunettes and crowning
segmental pediments and finials to outer bays, small
pilastered arched and segmentally pedimented central dormer.
End stacks, slate roof.
