Description

Designed by Brown and Watt, part of the original Oldmill Poorhouse complex opened in 1907. The original nurses home. Large 2/3 storey block of a character slightly different from the other original buildings, having Scots renaissance detailing; granite at ground floor, harled above, withashlar dressings, crow-stepped gables, prominent stacks, varying roof-heights, small-paned sash and case windows; some pedimented dormer heads.
