William Kerr (John Melvin & Son) Late 16th/early 17th century

English traditional. Large 2-storey and attic mansion house, asymmetrical, NE entrance court with central wide gable and

immense chimney, Roman doric columned porch with strapwork

above, Power SE wing ascending to height of main block;

urn-capped gatepiers and balustrades; snecked rubble, red

tiled roof, mullioned windows, transomed at principal rooms

on ground floor. Finely detailed throughout.
