Description

James Ritchie, architect of Glasgow, 1882 Gothic. Single
storey 8 bay school with entrances at side. Red sandstone.
Wide advanced end bays with triple lancet windows and small
lights in finialled gable heads. 6 windows to recessed
section, 2nd and 5th with wallhead gables over 2 narrow
pointed arched lights and occulus. Block cornice. Central
slated conical bellcote. Extensive rear buildings, linked
to main range by bays, capped with facetted spires.
Slate roof, red ridge tiles.
