Description

1892. Single storey building originally housing 3 boilers
producing hydraulic power for the harbour. Red engineering
brick with sandstone dressings, slate roof with red tile
ridge. Side elevations have 3 round-arched windows.
Pedimented gable end with square Italianate tower to right
originally housing the hydraulic ram. Modern clock set
in recessed panel. Bracketted cornice.
