Description

1906. 4-span rubble built railway bridge, with 2 larger central spans; segmental arches; plain hoodmould over ashlar voussoirs; crenellated parapet.

Statement of Interest

Opened by the Maidens and Dunure Light Railway. Notable for its inclusion in the triple arrangement of bridges at Alloway (see separate list descriptions for Old Brig O'Doon and New Bridge of Doon).
