Statement of Interest

A prominent corner-site block on the Fort Street and Charlotte Street junction, providing an interesting example of developing 19th century urban architecture in distinction to the earlier 19th century houses opposite in Charlotte Street. Of particular interest are the differing window and doorpiece treatments to the Fort and Charlotte Street elevations.
