Early 19th century. 3-storey, 2-bay (off-centre) tenement with ground floor shop. Painted ashlar. Band course dividing ground and 1st floor; eaves course; cornice; blocking course. Cornices to 1st floor windows; brackets and architraves to all windows.
NE (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: central ground floor shop entrance; 2-leaf glazed timber door; letterbox fanlight; regular fenestration at 1st and 2nd floors.
12-pane timber sash and case windows at 1st and 2nd floors. Grey slate roof; stone skews; coped harl stacks; circular cans.
INTERIOR: not seen 1998.
Nos 85-95 (Odd Nos) form a terrace of early 19th century tenements, with individuality provided by differing treatments to the window surrounds. Continuous cornice and roofline with Nos 85 and 87, 89 and 91 (see separate list descriptions).
