Description

Early 19th century. 2-storey, 3-bay terraced building with commercial premises at ground floor. Painted render. Eaves course; cornice. Painted margins to 1st floor windows.

SW (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: central entrance to shop at ground floor; 2-leaf glazed timber door; flanking shop windows. Regular fenestration at 1st floor.

12-pane timber sash and case windows at 1st floor. Grey slate roof; stone skew; mutual brick stack with No 230; circular cans.

INTERIOR: not seen 1998.

Statement of Interest

Good remaining example of early 19th century low 2-storey building at S section of High Street, adjacent to the reed-roofed No 230 (see separate list description).
