Mid 19th century. 2-storey, 3-bay, near rectangular-plan house on corner site. Coursed sandstone. Base course; 1st floor cill course; eaves course; cornice; blocking course; strip margins. Architraved margins to window openings; cill blocks and painted surrounds to ground floor (W elevation) openings.
W (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: central pilastered, corniced, block-pedimented doorpiece; timber door; letterbox fanlight; single window aligned above at 1st floor; regular fenestration at ground and 1st floors to flanking bays.
S (BATH PLACE) ELEVATION: square-headed entrance to outer right; timber door; letterbox fanlight. 2 single windows to left at ground and 1st floors.
12-pane timber sash and case windows at ground floor; 6-pane to upper sashes at 1st floor. Grey slate roof; stone skews; coped stacks; circular cans.
INTERIOR: not seen 1998.
BOUNDARY WALL: coped boundary wall to outer right of Bath Place elevation.
Used as an architectural precedent to the later adjacent Nos 4 and 6 Queen's Terrace, which shares mutual base, eaves, cornice and blocking courses, but has bipartite windows and an exterior stair to outer left (see separate list description).
