Description

1896, probably incorporating earlier fabric. 2-storey and attic, 4-bay elevation to Bridge Street and return gable and wing forming 5 bays to Reid Street, with additional 2-storey, 4-bay block, also Reid Street. Painted frontage to Bridge Street, harled rubble with long and short work to Reid Street, harled 4-bay block (Bar).

Bracketted corniced entrance to Bridge Street with re-used 1770 datestone; curved angle bay with lst floor window (plate glass glazing); 2 canted wallhead dormers to Bridge Street, 1 to Reid Street. Plate glass glazing in sash and case windows. Corniced end stacks; slate roofs.

Statement of Interest

Re-used datestone inscribed ID - ES 1770 for John Dick and Elizabeth Stewart. Function room facing Bridge Street not included in listing.
