Description

Dated 1892. 2-storey, 3-bay house. Tooled pink granite ashlar

frontage with darker red granite dressings, harled return gables.

Centre entrance with panelled door, reeded jambs and coloured quarried sidelights. Canted bay windows rise full height in outer bays; centre bipartite in lst floor. Plate glass sash and case glazing.

Bull-faced dark red granite quoins. Original cast-iron rainwater

goods, the rhones shaped and treated to simulate wallhead cornice.

Corniced end stacks; slate roof with pottery ridge.

Statement of Interest

Unusual use of two-tone red granite and survival of original good quality rainwater goods and door carpentry.
