Description

Circa 1800. 2-storey and attic, 3-bay house with modern shopfronts in ground floor. Mixed striated squared tooled rubble, painted tooled and polished ashlar dressings, channelled quoins. Ground floor probably designed as alternate window/door/window/door/window; doorway to No 20 with original early l9th century fanlight. Regular lst floor fenestration and 3 dormers, re-modelled and heightened in later l9th century, break wallhead; all 12-pane glazing in timber sash and case

windows. Channelled quoins terminate at bandcourse level, bandcourse

dividing lst and attic levels. Deep moulded wallhead cornice;

corniced end stacks; run-off skewputts; slate roof.
