Description

Circa 1800. 2-storey, 3-bay house with rear wing forming L-plan. Harled, painted ashlar margins and dressings. Centre door with naive Gibbsian doorpiece, panelled door and small flanking windows; 3 regular tall 1st floor window; 4-pane glazing in ground floor, 8-pane in 1st floor timber sash and case windows. Wallhead gable end stacks; piended slate roof. 2-storey, 3-bay rear wing with end stack.

FRONT WALL AND GATEPIERS: square painted ashlar gatepiers, each with shallow stringcourse and shallow corniced cap with base of iron lampholder. Coped front wall. High wall separates house from Reid Street.
