Description

Early to mid l9th century. High coped rubble wall fronting St Catherine Street terminating as rectangular 2-stage angle tower at corner of Reidhaven Street. Similar tower fronts Reidhaven Street with length of rear wall parallel to St Catherine Street.

Each rubble tower with tooled ashlar margins and dressings; 2 stages with dummy slits and crenellated wallheads.

Statement of Interest

Jail demolished and site infilled by fire station and petrol filling station, neither included in listing.
