Description

Founded 1256. First pointed. Remains of chapel, repaired 1900
by John Honeyman, comprising rubble-built south wall and
doorway of 2 main orders (outer with shafts missing except
for capitals and bases). 3 windows with hood moulds at upper
level above string course, remains of 4th on W. Piscina on
internal wall. Moulding of aperture jamb built into gable
of adjoining house.

Statement of Interest

Guardianship Monument. Part of east wall embedded in gable

of house adjoining to east.

Area scheduled 12 March 1996 to include the surviving wall and an area to the N which may be expected to contain foundations or other traces of the chapel.
