Description

Circa 1840. 2-storey and attic ashlar-fronted double house,

4-window frontage, central paired cavetto-splayed doorpieces.

No 23 has simpler treatment plain architraved ground floor

window with cornice, upper windows plain; No 25 has plain

(originally moulded) architrave and cornice at ground floor,

moulded architraves at 1st floor: 2-window ashlar gable to

Baptist Church moulded architraves and cornices both

floors. Rubble-built single-storey and attic wing to rear.

Gabled slated roof with straight skews, stuccoed brick work chimneystacks, single canted dormer each house. Original

glazing.
