Description

Dated 1858. Victorian single-storey attic and garret villa of
eccentric character, ashlar fronted. Central projecting
entrance bay with arched cavetto-moulded and key-blocked
pilastered doorpiece shaped ogee Jacobethan gablet with
single window skewputts finial and fish-scale slating
over. Three-light canted bay and canted dormer to left,
single window to right and 2-storey-3-window semi-octagonal
corner bay. One window rubble gable to Bank Street.
Lying-pane glazing front elevation only, gable 12-pane
sashes. Slated roof recently simplified, roofs of canted
bay, dormer and angle turret removed and replaced by
flat roofs.
