Description

Circa 1800. Large 3-storey and attic tenement 4-windows each front, painted ashlar with V-jointed quoin angles, modillioned cornice; slated, small piended dormer. Modern ground floor shop.

Statement of Interest

Although the buildings in Cross, Crossgate and Bonnygate have for the most part an early 19th century appearance and are so dated a considerable number must be of late 18 century date. The OSA comments on large-scale re-building of Cupar within the previous few years.
