Description

Earlier 19th century. 2-storey, 4-bay (2-2) pair of houses. Stugged squared and coursed rubble, N and E elevations pebble-dashed; ashlar dresings. Corncrete door surrounds. Raised cills. 1st floor lintels at eaves level.

S (CROFT STREET) ELEVATION: 2 doors (No 21 to left, No 23 to right), with strip fanlights, in inner bays Regular fenestration at ground and 1st floors.

W ELEVATION: adjoined to Nos 17 and 19 Croft Street (see separate listing); S facade of Nos 21 and 23 advanced .

E ELEVATION: blank.

Plate glass glazing pattern in sash and case windows. Coped skew and ashlar gablehead stack to W, harled skew and gablehead stack to E. Grey slates.
