Description

Earlier 19th century. 3-storey, 3-bay tenement with shop at ground. Squared and coursed rubble; finely droved ashlar dressings. Early 20th century tripartite shop front, with geometric tile-facing, to W. Base course. Lintel course at eaves level. Eaves cornice. Raised margins. Angle margin to right.

W (HIGH STREET) ELEVATION: keystoned round-arched pend entrance to outer left, with door and fanlight; shop door flanked by plate glass windows to centre and right. Cornice and fascia bearing shop name with small gablet-capped mannered consoles closing. Regular fenestration at 1st and 2nd floors.

E ELEVATION: rubble and harled projection with swept roof in bays to left and centre. Pend at right opens into small court, enclosed by 2-storey building adjoined to rear block of Nos 112 and 114 High Street (see separate listing), giving access to No 110 and to rear entrance of Nops 112 and 114 High Street.

N ELEVATION: adjoined to Nos 112 and 114 High Street.

S ELEVATION: adjoined to Nos 104 and 106 High Street (see separate listing).

Sash and case windows; plate glass glazing pattern to W, 12-pane to E. Deep coped skews and scroll skewputts to mutual gables to W, skewputt to left under cornice of neighbouring building, Nos 112 and 114 High Street. Ashlar gablehead stack to S, mutual brick stack to N. Grey slates.
