Description

Early 19th century. 2-storey and attic, 3-bay classical
house. Coursed rubble squared for dressings; plain margins.
Pilastered doorpiece with blocking course. Panelled door with
small paned fanlight strip. 12-pane glazing pattern; 2 later
dormers. Blind window in side gable head with slated lean-to
at ground floor. Tall central stair windows, rear; multi-pane
sash. Slated gable roof; brick stacks.

Statement of Interest

Former manse of the 2nd United Secession Church, sited at

rear; later the Dunbar Evangelistic Mission. Walled garden at

front with wrought-iron torchere bracket at corner.
