Description

Mid 19th century. Symmetrical group of 3 houses in terrace,
now linked internally. 2-storey with lower storey sunk
slightly below garden level on SW Squared coursed rubble with
raised ashlar quoins and band course. SW entrance through
ornate Victorian conservatory set on brick foundations,
reached by a flight of steps. Full-height canted bays of
later 19th century flanking. Side cottages of 2 bays each
with 12-pane glazing pattern. Plain margins. Harled at rear
and asymmetrical. Slate roof; brick stacks with one removed.

Statement of Interest

Mutual stack removed from raised gable of end cottages.

Skeleton found under centre cottage, originally no. 2.
