Description

C G Soutar (MacLaren Sons and Soutar) 1909. 2-storey villa
with some modern movement features, harled on rock-faced
rubble base with ashlar entrance and canted bays.
S elevation end bays canted ashlar rising through both floors
with parapet. Off-centre tripartite garden door with
transomed side lights. Ashlar panel and altered bipartite over.
W elevation: Entrance bay ashlar. Heavily consoled and
corniced door with single light over. Windows to right
blocked.
Mutule eaves. Piended slate roof. Modern dormer. Twin stacks.
All glazing modern.
Low garden wall, mild steel railings.
