David Logan, architect, 1818. Single-storey cottage with
unusual plan, harled with ashlar margins. Asymmetrical
S elevation has 2 advanced bays with broad eaves, left with
canted bay, single aproned window at right, inner similar
single window. Entrance set back at E with lean-to circa
1900 glazed porch set in re-entrant angle and window.
Service wing at W. Broad eaved piended slate roofs with
small swept dormer over entrance. S tall lozenge-plan stacks
(2 recently removed).
INTERIOR: central arched hall with cupola and fine plaster
work.
