Description

Style of George Mathewson, earlier 19th century. Single and 2-storey, L-plan Picturesque villa. Harled, painted margins, slate roof. Deep eaves, decorative bargeboards, coped stacks with margined angles, windows mainly 2- and 4-pane sash and case.

S ELEVATION: glazed entrance porch (originally open) with door, transom-light and timber Doric columns; inner modern glazed door with original fanlight. Slightly advanced bipertite window at left, modern garage addition at far left; canted window at right, curtain-wall with door at far right. Gable stacks left and right.

E ELEVATION: central wallhead dormer, wide gable at left with attic window, 12-lying-pane window at right.

N ELEVATION: painted angle margins, single storey lean-to at ground floor, window at attic right.
