Description

James Barbour, circa 1880. Richly sculptured free
Italiante; 3 storeys. Red ashlar with modern polished
granite ground floor under modillioned cornice. 4 bays
(3 bipartite, 1 single window). Arcaded first floor
window heads, high relief figure sculpture within tympana
and richly sculptured pilasters; pilastered mullions. 2nd
floor also with richly sculptured pilasters supporting
main entablature with modillioned cornice. Single-pane
sashes throughout. End stacks; slate roof.
