Description

Earlier/mid 19th century 2-storey 3-bay house remodelled
later in century with heavy architraved openings with
bracketted cills, segmental door pediment added; 4th bay
(to left) and 4 canted dormers. Unusual garden retaining
wall to left with shallow recessed panels.
House: painted ashlar; recessed panelled door; plate glass
sash windows; straight skews; corniced end stacks slate
roof.
Garden retaining wall: rubble-built with ashlar dressings;
pedestrian gate beside house; alternate segmental-arched
and square-headed openings; cast-iron railings over.
